Event planner Samantha Hunter is prepared for a few challenges when escorting a group of good ole boy beer distributors to Paris, the city of haute cuisine and fine wines. However, she doesn’t foresee being passed up for a promotion because she is too professional and doesn’t knock back beers with her clients.
Her focus soon switches from landing the well-deserved promotion to finding her free-spirited sister, who lives in Paris and has disappeared, leaving behind family secrets to be uncovered.
A sexy puppeteer helps Samantha search for clues to her sister’s whereabouts and teaches her to embrace her inner child. And a funeral-crashing psychic demonstrates the importance of living life to the fullest.
It takes Samantha’s life spiraling out of control for her to finally get a life.
When Samantha arrives in Paris she's excited to be involved in an important business meeting with her beer distributing clients, thinking this could be the making of her career, Samantha sets her sights on a promotion.
Excited to share this experience with someone, Samantha reconnects with her sister Libby who is currently living in Paris.
For most people Paris is the city of love, for Samantha it is the city of surprises and not of the good kind........
I really enjoyed 'Kissing My Old Life Au Revoir' It was inspiring reading as Samantha set about changing her life, she is a strong career woman and at times is certainly tested.
But her strength remains throughout, which makes her a great heroine to read about.
And one of the people to help Samantha stay strong is gorgeous Parisian Luc. Luc is the man everyone deserves to see Paris with, he sounds like the perfect guy, caring, there when needed and did I mention HOT!
But as with most stories for every hot guy we are rewarded with, we get someone who gets the blood boiling, introducing the artist that is Bruno, a nasty brash character who definitely tests Samantha's kind nature.
The ending has left me longing to visit Paris and I live in hope I may meet a Luc!
